The main DSC panel and junction box connect to Control4 via an RS232 port, and the embedded driver in Control4 software (Composer) makes integration very simple.
The following DSC peripherals then communicate wirelessly to Control4.

• Wireless Panic Key Fob
The alarm system can be set via the traditional DSC panel or direct from any Control4 Touch Panel or On Screen Display.
The system can be ‘armed’ and ‘disarmed’ via 4Sight, the Control4 internet access software. So you can de-activate your security system remotely if you want someone to have access to the house. Also Control4 can send email notifications based upon security system events.
A really superb feature is that even when the alarm system is turned off, all the sensors are still active and can relay information back to the Control4 system.
